Softlight Media is contracted to a major modeling agency to photograph all their models. As part of the student’s course they get to do a very basic shoot with us to feel first hand what it involves to be on a professional shoot with a photographer as to prepare them for bigger and greater shoots in the future.

We offer studio, outdoor and on location professional shoots for models and aspiring models.

We also offer studio, outdoor and on location professional fashion shoots for designers and fashion wear companies.

Professional model and fashion shoots are done with a team to ensure that all aspects of lighting, make-up, styling and hair are covered to produce cover page quality photographs.

On the photographic side:

Softlight Media uses high-end Canon photographic cameras and lenses to ensure your photographs are of the highest quality for your personal use and for the print media. We use specialized lighting for flash photography to ensure that the final product is of a high quality.

Hair, make-up and styling:

You have the option of bringing along your own hair and make-up artist to keep you in tiptop condition for the duration of your shoot.

Stylist:

The stylist can either be provided by Softlight Media or you are welcome to bring your own stylist along to keep your outfits in coordination and to help with your changes and to instruct on different poses.

Fashion shows:

Softlight Media has photographed and filmed numerous model graduations and fashion shows around the country. It is a specialized art as lighting is very important for this kind of photography and film production without detracting from the ambient feel of the shows lighting.
